Dr. Nicole Sundene, NMD
Women's health is a little bit more complicated than men's health because of the constantly fluctuating hormones we experience every month and throughout our lives. It is completely normal for women to experience hormone imbalance. We must talk about it and educate women to spread awareness so they can take charge of it. When we don't properly address women's hormones, I see many women develop anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and insomnia.
In honor of "International Women's Day," I have put together multiple resources for women to help understand their hormones. Thank you to everyone who shares my hormone posts on their social media. Together we can empower women to take charge of their hormones and not be embarrassed to talk about these issues with their friends, family, and doctors!
